Life Science Survey
By now many of you may have received an e-mail message from Michael Feldman, our Life Science Executive-in-Residence, announcing the Utah Technology Council’s effort to develop a Life Science BIOVision for the state. For the initial phase of this effort, we are requesting feedback from the Life Science community on how UTC can better meet your needs. We will be reaching out to members and non-members of UTC in an effort to help us define and prioritize objectives for 2010.
To gather this information, we will be doing two things. First, you will receive an e-mail telling you about an online survey and providing you with a link to that survey. It is a short survey and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. The survey has been designed to:
• Identify needs and requirements of companies in the Utah Life Science community
• Clarify member and non-member expectations
• Measure member satisfaction and loyalty
• Provide direction for improvement efforts in 2010
• Allow us to establish a benchmark to measure our progress.
When you are filling out the survey, you will notice we have included several free text comment boxes. We ask that you take advantage of these boxes. We chose to put the boxes in because we value and desire your opinion.
The second part of this initiative is a series of interviews. We will conduct approximately 20 one-hour interviews. Candidates will be drawn from a pool of members and non-members, large and small companies, and will include at least one company from every field in the Life Science community. The purpose of these interviews is to assist us in developing an even deeper understanding of local industry. Responses in these interviews will be analyzed, along with the survey results, and used to provide you with a local, best-in-class, professional organization.
UTC realizes success is dependant on meeting the needs of our community. We appreciate you taking a few minutes out of your busy schedule to help us better serve you. We want the Utah Life Science community to be the best in the world. To do that, we need to know how best to connect, respond to, and support you.
If you do not receive an email notification of the survey, please let Michael Feldman (mfeldman@utahtechcouncil.org) know. We want to hear from everyone. Thank you for your support.
