Engineer Volunteers Needed

The College of Engineering at the University of Utah has a volunteer opportunity for the next two months. They will be sponsoring an Invention Club at Valley Junior High School. Students will work in teams to create an invention. Each team will need an engineer to help them through their project. The club begins on Wednesday, January 13 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Valley Junior High School (4190 S. 3200 W.) and will run through Wednesday, February 24. 

They understand that volunteers may not be able to attend all meetings. Their hope is that you can help steer students in the right direction with their projects, and help them have a meaningful hands-on engineering experience. They will need up to 12 volunteers to help with this club.
