Utah Career Days

We need the help of technology companies to get high school students excited about going into technology.

As you know having a Quality Workforce for our members is our number one priority, we want high school students to see what kinds of exciting things our industries are doing (high tech, life science and clean tech),so that they will consider careers in our fields.

We have been asked by the Department of Workforce Services to help solicit flash drives for their Career Day – 7,000 – to put important college information on for high school students. We have two companies who have offered to contribute drives and we are in need additional ones. We would also like to encourage industry involvement at Career Days by having booths and talking with students and exciting them about innovations taking place and encouraging them to consider one of the many aspects of technology and what education is needed to do so. Please see the attached information and we hope for your involvement in one of the ways indicated. If you can contribute flash drives, please let Melisa or I know and the number you can provide. We hope to have great industry involvement in these two career dates.
