Bio: John Pilmer

John Pilmer, APR is an award-winning, accredited public relations and marketing communications advisor for emerging sector leaders. John has served in numerous volunteer community & business positions including the board of directors for the North Pacific District of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), 2010 chairman of the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum (UVEF), as well as the business incubator board for CEDO in Orem. His firm, PilmerPR LLC facilitated the launch of four startups into the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies in America. President Obama recently paid a visit to ElectraTherm, a Reno-based clean tech firm where John & PilmerPR spent 2 years accelerating the company’s launch from “zero to hero”. He is also author of a new thriller novel, Green Spin, available on Amazon and iTunes. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management and Marketing from Brigham Young University, as well as an MBA from the University of Utah. He and his sweetheart just celebrated their 28th anniversary. They serve as cheerleaders for 3 awesome children.
