Marketing seems to be misunderstood: The CEO is challenging the marketer to hit revenue and product targets, lead the markets, invent new products and markets, transform the business and be operationally accountable for problems outside of marketing; The CFO is grilling you to reduce expenses but generate new business ideas. Markets are transforming to new value propositions as well and insight generation is not systemized. Attendees learned how to think, talk and walk among senior executives who may not understand the craft. They discussed how to retool and balance innovation, operational delivery and growing talent with new skills. The forum was presented by author, entrepreneur and current senior executive at Regence, Mohan Nair.
