SALT LAKE CITY – March 18, 2008– Meg Whitman, president and CEO of eBay, will be the keynote speaker for the Utah Technology Council’s (UTC) Annual Members’ Meeting on March 28. Whitman will share business strategy insights with Utah business and community leaders. UTC will also honor 2007 Executives of the Year and announce the new Board officers and trustees. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Karen Gail Miller Conference Center at the Salt Lake Community College, 9750 S. 300 W., Sandy, UT. She then spent eight years with Bain & Company becoming a vice president. Next she worked for three years with the Walt Disney Company’s Consumer Products Division, served three years as president of Stride Rite’s Childrens’ Division, two years as president & CEO of FTD and as general manager of Hasbro’s Preschool Division before joining eBay.
